Students of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University successfully participated in international and national sports competitions held in April 2026 and achieved a number of remarkable results.
In particular, Shohista Nuraliyeva won 1st place at the Asian Championship in Uzbek Martial Arts, while Mahfuza Xandamova and Jasurbek Bobobekov took 1st place at the Uzbekistan Championships in Mixed Martial Arts and Pencak Silat.
In addition, Bilolbek Hakimov won 2nd place and Mahmudjon Murodjonov took 3rd place at the Central Asian Volleyball Championship.
The university’s basketball team won a silver medal at the ROSATOM International Sports Festival. Muhammadali Jurakulov also claimed a bronze medal at the Asian Cup in Academic Rowing.
