You made my eyes shine by putting on atlas..

“Atlas campaign” was held at JSPU. Today, when we see girls and boys in dresses made of satin or adras on the streets, our eyes light up and our hearts are filled with pride. We are amazed and proud that the Uzbek people have such a precious heritage. Today, atlas and adras fabrics are included in the UNESCO list of world intangible cultural heritage. “Atlas campaign” organized by the initiative of the Faculty of Pre-school Education of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University began with a demonstration of national costumes by female students. The participants who took part in more than 10 nomination contests described their dresses as well as their convenient aspects for female students. At the “Atlas campaign” the most deserving ones were declared the winners by the jury.   “You know, I’m still partial to satin and adras dresses.” Until I find time, I go to shops and markets, looking for these fabrics. I will sew it in a modern style. When I wear satin, my heart is full of national pride and I feel happy. After all, it has a history of a thousand years, it is the pride of our nation, it is our inexhaustible wealth that came to us from our mothers. If you remember, in the past, when our mothers gave cradles to their daughters, and when they performed circumcision weddings, they made sarpas for their grandchildren, of course, the little girls used to sew satin dresses for their grandchildren, and gold coats and hats for the boys. I think there is great wisdom in that as well. It is no wonder that the “Atlas campaign” organized by the faculty of preschool education serves to bring back these values with the same attractiveness, says Ziyoda Abduvalieva, the chairman of the women’s committee of the university. Clothing has a special significance for representatives of all nations and peoples. They have unique and appropriate clothes that have become national costumes. The whole world admires the unique and unique national clothes of the Uzbek people, especially adras and atlas. It would not be wrong to say that the “Atlas campaign” held in the yard of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University was one of the celebrations that demonstrated our unique nationality.   National clothes are our pride, our spiritual wealth, and when we put them on our shoulders, our hearts are full of joy, happiness, and joy.
