“Book reading week” was started at JSPU.
It is safe to say that “Book Reading Week” is a great opportunity for young students who do not have the opportunity to visit bookstores and get to know new books. According to the decision of the government on December 14, 2020, “Book reading week” will be held in Jizzakh State Pedagogical University every year in April. Today’s event was attended by students of technical schools and academic lyceums of the university.
The event started with a book exhibition with the participation of industry experts, poets and writers, and students. The invitees got acquainted with new literature and their electronic versions. At the opening ceremony of the book festival, it was noted that this year’s event is gaining uniqueness both in form and content.
Young people talking to writers and poets, readers looking at shelves full of books one by one, looking at banners with proverbs and slogans, pictures of heroes of various works with their own enthusiasm and interest. This is evident from their cheerfulness and high mood.
During the week-long holiday, guests will have the opportunity to directly participate in exhibitions and purchase book products. Lectures and literary meetings are organized with the participation of well-known poets and writers, laureates of the state award named after Zulfiya, honorary professors and teachers of the university.
Today’s holiday is the spring of literature, the spring of poetry, a wonderful celebration of goodness. In this process, of course, unique books, which are a source of thought and imagination, have an incomparable place.
It is worth noting that many notable new editions will be presented during the week. In addition, within the framework of the week, the organizers plan to reward the most active participants, encourage veterans who have worked in the field for many years, book promoters and creators. In a word, the weekly events are diverse. It is not difficult to give a unique definition to each of them.
