As you know, in early February this year, a Delegation led by Professor Birol Mercan of the Turkish State University named after Necmettin Erbakan visited the Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to expand cooperation in all fields of Higher Education. During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation in the Higher Education System of Uzbekistan and Turkey and opportunities to raise it to a new level. In particular, the sides exchanged views on the exchange of teachers and students, the allocation of grants for students to study at Turkish universities, strengthening cooperation in medicine, computer science, mathematics, physics, pedagogy.
It is no exaggeration to say that the online meeting held yesterday by the Rector of Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute Sh.S.Sharipov and the Rector of the Turkish State University named after Necmettiin Erbakan Cem Zorlu is a successful continuation of cooperation. The online meeting began with the parties providing information about the educational process of the universities, the region and historical monuments where they live, the history of the university. Then the Deans of Faculties and Heads of Departments of the two sides presented their proposals in order to get acquainted and determine the target plans. In particular, the Deans of the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, the Heads of the Department of Foreign Languages of JSPI expressed their plans and proposals for future cooperation. The Deans of the Faculties of Education, Medicine and Engineering of Necmettin Erbakan State University also outlined their future plans and proposals. In the process of interaction, the exchange of students and professors between the two universities, organization of online lectures of experienced professors and teachers of Necmettin Erbakan State University, joint educational programs, training of young scientists conducting research were discussed. At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to expand cooperation in the fields of IT, pedagogy, medicine, foreign languages, raise cooperation between the two universities to a new level, as well as organize a separate online seminar in each area.
