A meeting with representatives of the US Embassy in Uzbekistan was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.

Rector of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University Sh.S. Sharipov met with diplomat of the US Embassy in Uzbekistan Linda Newgen; Education Outreach Coordinator Jamila Nasriddinova and English teaching assistants Holly McFarlane and Samuel Kendrick in the conference hall of the university. During the roundtable discussion, the cooperation and prospective plans of both organizations were discussed. Also, Sh. Sharipov put forward some ideas to establish relations with JSPU and prestigious universities in the United States of America. The representatives of the embassy expressed their opinions on this statement  

Then, during the 2023-2024 academic year, Holly McFarlane, who works as a teaching assistant in the Department of English Language Practical Course of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and discussed her work schedule was introduced. It was noted that Samuel Kendrick will work at the academic lyceum under JSPU. It was noted that with the help of these English Teaching Assistants, our students’ knowledge of the English language was further strengthened and they were given the opportunity to communicate with a “native speaker”, as a result of which it was possible to increase their self-confidence in the process of communicating in English.
