Jizzakh State Pedagogical University has established cooperation with prestigious universities of many foreign countries on the issue of strengthening foreign cooperation. As a result of these contacts, professors of Portsmouth University of Great Britain Dr. James Bullock and Dr. The Lee Oakleys visited. The foreign guests met with the rector of the university, Sh.S. Sharipov, and discussed plans to establish mutual cooperation between universities in the future. They also discussed plans to organize practical classes for Master’s students at the University of Portsmouth, to organize student exchanges, to organize lectures for JSPU students, and to participate in online and offline conferences.

In the process of communication, exchange of students and professors between universities, organization of lectures and classes by experienced professors of the University of Portsmouth, joint educational programs, and cooperation of young scientists conducting scientific research. a number of proposals were put forward. At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to raise the cooperation between the higher education institutions of the two countries to a new level, at the same time, to organize separate cooperation with each direction after studying the suggestions and comments. The Rector of the University presented souvenirs to the professors of the University of Portsmouth.

After the meeting, the foreign guests visited the Faculty of Foreign Languages, the museum “Memorial of Repression Victims” and the Jizzakh Presidential School.
