Jizzakh State Pedagogical University (JSPU) pursues a comprehensive international cooperation policy aimed at strengthening global academic partnerships, integrating advanced international experience, and enhancing the quality of education. The university’s key directions in international cooperation include:
- Improving the qualifications of faculty members by providing opportunities for retraining and professional development based on best international practices;
- Expanding the participation of professors and academic staff in international scientific-practical seminars, conferences, and symposia;
- Engaging students and academic staff in academic exchange programs, short-term trainings, and internships abroad;
- Enhancing the educational process and expanding scientific collaboration by inviting foreign professors and experts to the university.
To date, JSPU has established international partnerships with institutions in the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom, France, the Russian Federation, Belarus, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, India, and several other countries. These collaborations are conducted within the framework of intergovernmental agreements and inter-institutional contracts.
The scope of these international agreements includes:
- Participation of students and faculty in academic exchange programs;
- Implementation of joint scientific research projects;
- Publication of research articles in international journals;
- Enhancing the quality of education through academic knowledge and experience exchange.
JSPU maintains active and ongoing cooperation with various international organizations, including the British Council (UK), the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), India’s Technical and Economic Cooperation Program (ITEC), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Through these partnerships, university representatives regularly participate in a range of international grants, projects, training programs, and workshops.
Currently, the university is actively engaged in attracting foreign experts to participate in the educational process. In parallel, there is a systematic effort to send faculty members for professional development and internships at leading international universities. In addition, JSPU is implementing a joint academic program with the Belarusian State Pedagogical University. Under this “3+1” dual degree model, students study for the first three years at JSPU and complete their final year at the partner university in Belarus, resulting in a dual diploma recognized by both institutions. These international programs and partnerships play a crucial role in improving the quality of education at JSPU. They contribute to the modernization of the teaching and learning process based on international best practices, strengthen the academic and research potential of faculty members, and help students become competitive professionals in the global labor market.
