The purpose of the department for the organization of scientific and research activities of talented students is the directive of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 5, 2018 “On improving the quality of education in higher education institutions and ensuring their active participation in comprehensive reforms implemented in the country”. In accordance with the decision of PD-3775 “on additional measures” in each higher education institution, the organization of separate groups for the most talented students selected during the 1st year (the number of students in these groups is determined by the higher education institution will be determined), from the 2nd year of their education based on separate curricula and programs, targeted admission of students of this category to the master’s degree and thereby introducing a system of training qualified personnel for the departments of higher educational institutions, targeted scientific training of talented students at the university involvement and guidance in activities, the work being carried out in departments and faculties in this regard consists of coordination.

The tasks of organization of scientific and research activities of talented students department are as follows:

  • paying special attention to the intellectual potential of gifted students, acquiring deep knowledge and developing their abilities;
  • attracting qualified professors and teachers to individual work with talented students;
  • wide involvement of talented students in scientific-research works in the priority areas of science development;
  • attracting talented students to the training of highly qualified personnel, preparation for the next stages of higher education;
  • formation of the bank and monitoring of the University for talented students;
  • development of special educational programs, modern information and pedagogical technologies for gifted students;
  • training of qualified, comprehensively matured personnel who meet the requirements of customers.
