On December 29, 1993, according to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan, “January 14 – Defender of the Fatherland Day” was declared. Protecting the homeland is a sacred duty for everyone.
In our country, our soldiers, who devoted themselves to the great work of protecting the Motherland, are appreciated with great respect and honor, and “January 14 – the Day of Defenders of the Motherland” is celebrated every year with great joy and celebration. This day was celebrated in a special way at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. Veterans were invited to the event.

Speaking at the festive event, the rector of the university emphasized that the services of a group of industry representatives working at the university are always highly appreciated, and wished them strength and courage for their future activities.

At the end of the event, the participants were given holiday gifts. It would not be wrong to say that the performances of the university’s artistic team added more joy to the festive celebration.
