In October-November of this year, the competition “Best picture” among students on the topic “Enlightenment against ignorance” and promotional events on topic “How do I understand the threat of terrorism?” and “Let’s be a generation worthy of our ancestors” were held. In addition, the university stage of contests of essays, poems and paintings is being held.

The main purpose of conducting the contests is to increase social and cultural activity among students, to contribute to their personal development, to fight against ignorance, to explain the importance of enlightenment and knowledge, and to form a spirit of intolerance against corruption and crime among young people.

In order to determine the winners of the competition, a working group consisting of industry experts of partner organizations was formed in order to objectively and transparently evaluate the documents of the participants. According to the results given by the members of the working group, the following results were recorded in the “Best Picture” competition held on the theme “Enlightenment against Ignorance”: 1st place Polatov Elzod, a student of the Faculty of Physics and Technology, 2nd place: Kabiljonova Jasmina, a student of the Faculty of Physics and Technology, 3rd place: Shodikulova Sarvinoz, a student of the Faculty of Physics and Technology. The students who won the competition were awarded diplomas and souvenirs by the university management.
