The “Izlanish” club of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University named after Abdulla Qadiri held the competition “NAVAOY’S HEIRS” dedicated to the 582nd anniversary of Alisher Navoi’s birth.
In connection with the 582nd anniversary of the birth of Alisher Navoi, various spiritual and educational events are being held. “Izlanish” club under JSPU also organized the “Heirs of Navoi” competition, in order to pay tribute to the immortal figure of the great leader of enlightenment Hazrat Alisher Navoi, to enjoy the immortal examples of his brilliant literary work, and also to gain enlightenment from the wisdom of the genius writer. . This competition was held on February 19 this year in the meeting hall of the university’s information resource center in an upbeat spirit.
The competition was opened by the head of the “Izlanish” club. Z. Mamadaliyeva, a Navoi scholar, a member of the Jizzakh branch of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, gave a meaningful lecture on the topic “Understanding Alisher Navoi’s work is worthy of the successors”.
In the literary-educational competition “Descendants of Navoi”, the participants showed their knowledge and talents based on three conditions.
In the first condition, called “Navoi nazm gulshan”, it was required to read the writer’s masterpiece ghazals, rubai and tuyuqs without stopping.
In the next event, named “The City of Wisdom”, Alisher Navoi’s famous sayings from the works “Mahbub ul-Qulub” and “Hayrat ul Abror” on the topics of science, teacher, and love of language are related to the lives of today’s youth. It was also planned to comment on it.
The third condition was not intended for the participants of the contest, but for the audience students, and it was required to write a short essay or letter on the topic “Navoiy – in my thoughts, in my creativity”.
The skills, knowledge and talent of the contestants were evaluated by the jury members in a fair and transparent manner. Announcing the results of the competition, JSPU IRC employee Mahliyo Bobonazarova noted that she also paid attention to the expressive reading of Navoi poems by the participating students. Also, in the second condition competition, he gave special recognition to the participants who were able to interpret the wisdom related to today with a beautiful speech.
Representatives from the Jizzakh regional council of the National Restoration Democratic Party of Uzbekistan participated as guests in this competition event.
In particular, Rano Yunusova, an expert on issues of increasing women’s activity, took the third place – U. Nazarova, M. Beknazarova, D. Abdurashidova among the students who fulfilled the condition of writing a short essay or letter on the topic “
Navoi – in my thoughts, in my creativity” and Z.Akhtamova were found worthy of the best letter holder nomination. Jamshid Mutalov, chief media specialist of UzNRDP, awarded the students who participated in the competition with letters of thanks and gifts from the party.
At the end of the competition-style educational event, the head of the “Izlanish” club D. Salimova gave a speech and offered Hilola Tilovova and Jorabek Ergashev, talented students of the Faculty of Uzbek Language and Literature, to hold this event and organize it meaningfully. On behalf of the club, the leadership of JSPU IRC, the chairman of the Jizzakh regional council of UzNRDP expressed sincere thanks for taking the initiative and conducting the event in an upbeat spirit, as well as for supporting the organization of the competition.
Also, the host of the event, J. Ergashev, offered to hold the “Successors of Navoi” competition at the club every year in a traditional manner. This event, which was inspired by the work of Alisher Navoi, left a positive impression on all the spectators and participants.
