Jizzakh State Pedagogical University develops international relations in the field of education, studies the experience of developed countries and includes the following tasks:
- Improving the qualifications of professors and teachers of the higher educational institution;
- Wide participation of professors of the higher education institution in foreign scientific practical seminars, conferences and symposia;
- Participation of professors and students in foreign exchange programs and trainings;
- Inviting foreign teachers and professors to work in higher educational institutions for the purpose of improving the educational process and exchanging experience;
International cooperation in the field of education is carried out on the basis of intergovernmental agreements with the Republic of South Korea, England, France, the Russian Federation, Belarus, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, India and a number of other countries. These contracts deal with the exchange of professors and students, their participation in various conferences and symposia, conducting joint scientific research, publishing scientific articles, etc. Within the framework of the agreement on “Cooperation in the field of education” between the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, established on November 8, 1999, 40 students, candidates of science, and young specialists from higher education institutions are doing internship in Chinese higher education institutions. The higher education institution has established close relations with the British Council, Korea’s international cooperation agencies, India’s technical cooperation program, the United Nations Development Program, and others.
All these programs and projects are aimed at the development of higher education at JSPU, improvement of the teaching-methodical process using advanced foreign experience, improvement of the qualifications of professors and teachers, expansion of student exchange.
It is also worth noting the active participation of JSPU in the Erasmus Mundus educational programs of the European Union. Higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and JSPU also participate in the Erasmus Mundus program of the European Union aimed at strengthening the academic speed of students, teachers, and cooperation between universities. As part of the programs, students and teachers will have the opportunity to do scientific internships in European higher education institutions. Currently, great attention is being paid to cooperation with foreign partners to attract foreign teachers and specialists to the educational process. The most active work in this direction is carried out with KOICA, the agency for international cooperation of Korea. Also, Jizzakh State Pedagogical University has joint educational programs with two foreign Higher Education Institutions: “2+2” with Belarusian State Pedagogical University and “3+1” with Belarusian State Pedagogical University.
