In the university, within the framework of “Youth Month”, competitions were organized among students in the sport of chess and checkers.

More than 200 students and young people participated in the chess and checkers sports competitions, which are considered an exercise of the mind. Competitions in these sports, which help to develop thinking and find an easy way to solve problems in life, were very intense.   – A healthy mother gives birth to a healthy child. I really want all women in our society, including girls, to participate in any kind of sport. I love playing chess since childhood. I did not participate in separate chess clubs. We are interested in this type of family sport. We train together. We try to outdo each other. I came to the competition held at the university with great enthusiasm. I won. I am very happy – says Kamola Nurmatova, one of our winners – It is no exaggeration to say that checkers is a hobby for me. The goal of the game is to finish off the opponent’s pieces or make them unable to move. It is at these moments that it is a special pleasure to try hard to defeat your opponent and to feel it. Those who love this sport like me know this pleasure. I tried hard to win today. I had fun, I had fun and I won, says Shahjahan Husanov, one of the winners of the checkers competition. From the outside, it is very quiet, but it is very interesting to engage in the sport of chess, which gives a lot of excitement and a special pleasure and passion. You envy our young men and women fighting for victory in the yard of the university. Everyone spends time differently. It is a human choice. Someone makes a living in “useless dreams”, while others suffer in the pursuit of “easy money”. We would not be wrong to say that these young people are the ones who study, search, and spend their free time meaningfully. At the end of the event, an awarding ceremony was held for those who were recognized as the best, active students and winners. Certificates of honor and gifts were handed over to those who were recognized.
