Modern methodological manuals for teaching biological sciences are being prepared for secondary schools. An online circle of “Young Biologists” has been organized from biological sciences. The leader of this club, O. Toshpolatov, has been confirmed. Proposals were made to enrich the library fund of general education schools with the Red Book of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Currently, the Red Book of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the website of the Botanical University is being used.

The education, category, and professional potential of biology teachers were analyzed. The knowledge of 11th grade graduates was analyzed based on the results of the entrance exams to higher education institutions for the 2020/2021 academic year. The schedule for the organization of master classes in general education schools of the Department of Biology and its Teaching Methodology, attached to specialized schools of biological sciences, has been approved and is being completed on time. The “Uniform Electronic Library” portal of educational literature on biological sciences was developed and put into practice. Internships of biology teachers of higher educational institutions of the republic were organized at the National University of Uzbekistan and the state universities of Karakalpak, Samarkand and Andijan. Lola Sanaeva went to the National University of Uzbekistan, Usanov Ulugbek and Uralboev Navrozbek went to the Samarkand State University for internship. In order to increase interest in biological sciences among young people, develop their potential in biological fields, and provide methodical support, the “Young Biologists” club has been established on the Internet and is constantly active. Cooperation agreements have been concluded with the University of Zoology of the ASRU, and work is being carried out based on the terms of this agreement. The materials of the zoological collection were delivered to the Zomin 2nd general education school, where the materials of the zoological collection are used to deepen the knowledge of the schoolchildren in biology (zoology) sciences. The preparation of students who successfully participated in the regional Olympiads in biology was organized, and on April 15-16, 2022, among the students of the general education school who took 1-10 places in the regional biology Olympiad, the Olympiad was held. the university stage took place.
