A meeting was held with the participation of specialists from the Department of Anti-Corruption Compliance Control System Management. The meeting of the Department of General Psychology was attended by the chief specialist of the department, D. Bosimov.

Regarding this issue on the agenda, D. Bosimov, Chief Specialist of the Department of Management of the Anti-Corruption “Compliance Control” System of the JSPU, informed professors and teachers about the Order of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation No. 369 dated October 8, 2014 “On more effective organization of anti-corruption activities in the system of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan” on more effective organization of anti-corruption activities.

Appendix 1 to this order states that in paragraph 2, paragraph 13, Chapter 3 of the “Policy for Combating Corruption in the System of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan” it is prohibited for employees of the Ministry to receive gifts, hospitality, including loans, guarantees, surety awards, material assistance, non-cash and cash incentives or their equivalents, securities, cryptocurrency, other material values ​​or services from individuals and legal entities in the performance of their official duties, and the negative consequences of these situations are discussed in detail. Also, the concepts of academic corruption (academic dishonesty) and its paid and unpaid manifestations, conducting scientific work in an open, transparent, plagiarized manner and checking students’ work, and the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On approval of the Regulation on the procedure for encouraging persons who reported corruption-related offenses or otherwise assisted in the fight against corruption” were provided. In addition, an online course on “Observance of the rules of professional ethics, elimination of conflicts of interest and other areas of combating corruption (24 hours)” was provided.
