On December 25 of this year, a press conference was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University on the topic “Summary: “Advanced Foreign Experiences in Education.” Foreign experts also participated in the conference.
The conference was opened by Zuhra Yakhshieva, Acting Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations, who provided information on the work carried out by the university within the framework of cooperation with foreign universities.
This academic year, the King Sejong Korean Language Center was opened at the university. In May 2024, a delegation consisting of representatives of Kyungwon University and the King Sejong Institute Foundation of South Korea visited JSPU. The center began its activities on October 3 of this year. Currently, this center has its own students.
As part of the partnership, since September of this year, as part of the cooperation between the university and the US Embassy, Fulbright Program Specialist Sandra Israel has been working at the Faculty of Foreign Languages. As a result, the “Teacher Professional Development Circle” has been launched at the Faculty of Foreign Languages. Kim Hyong Jong, Head of the King Sejong Language Center, and Fulbright Program Specialist Sandra Israel, provided information to the media representatives gathered at the press conference about the project and programs, as well as the “English Access Microscholarship” (Access) English language teaching grant program, as well as answered interesting questions on the topic.
