Opening the meeting, Rector Maqsudjon Yuldashev said in his speech:<\/h4>\n<p class=\"leading-8 font-normal\">\u201cToday, the university\u2019s scientific potential makes up only 34 percent. Unfortunately, this figure is not encouraging. Despite the opportunities being created, only two doctoral graduates defended their dissertations last year. This is not the result we were expecting. The trust placed in the doctoral students is not being justified,\u201d he emphasized <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-83001 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/jdpu.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/photo_2025-09-18_15-44-59.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-83004 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/jdpu.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/photo_2025-09-18_15-22-58.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"leading-8 font-normal\">In his remarks, the rector called for a deep sense of responsibility and accountability, placing special emphasis on the following points:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"leading-8 font-normal\"><em>At present, there are 21 doctoral students in their 3rd year of study, but only 8 of them have passed the department seminar.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"leading-8 font-normal\"><em>Most doctoral students are waiting passively instead of taking initiative.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"leading-8 font-normal\"><em>In order to achieve positive results, it is necessary to increase initiative, active research efforts, and a sense of responsibility.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-83003 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/jdpu.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/photo_2025-09-18_15-44-59-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-83007 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/jdpu.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/photo_2025-09-18_15-22-58-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-83008 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/jdpu.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/photo_2025-09-18_15-22-57.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"leading-8 font-normal\">\u201cWe need to identify the problem together and find a solution. Otherwise, we will once again lag behind with last year\u2019s results,\u201d said the head of the university.<\/p>\n<p class=\"leading-8 font-normal\">During the meeting, the questions and suggestions of the doctoral students were heard. In particular:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"leading-8 font-normal\"><em>the opening of online foreign language courses,<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"leading-8 font-normal\"><em>including doctoral students, along with teachers, in foreign internships,<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"leading-8 font-normal\"><em>strengthening the incentive system,<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"leading-8 font-normal\">and the proposal to establish a group of professors to provide direct support to doctoral students was endorsed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-83005 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/jdpu.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/photo_2025-09-18_15-22-58-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-83009 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/jdpu.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/photo_2025-09-18_15-22-57-6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-83010 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/jdpu.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/photo_2025-09-18_15-22-57-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-83011 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/jdpu.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/photo_2025-09-18_15-22-57-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-83012 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/jdpu.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/photo_2025-09-18_15-22-57-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-83013 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/jdpu.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/photo_2025-09-18_15-22-57-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"leading-8 font-normal\">At the end of the event, Rector Maqsudjon Yuldashev described this meeting as \u201cthe prologue to introduction and dialogue,\u201d and said: \u201cThere should be no issues that make life difficult for doctoral students at our university. Make the most of the opportunities provided to you.
