Nearly 200 local and international scholars from 25 countries participated in the event, which was opened by the Rector of the university, Maksudjan Yuldashev.<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">The event continued under the moderation of Professor Azamat Akbarov, who provided detailed information about the scientific significance and key directions of the conference. In particular, Amy Thompson analyzed the relationship between personal identity and socio-political factors, while Zhu Hua focused on issues of multilingualism and equality through translanguaging and interculturality. Charlene Polio, in turn, discussed methods for developing students\u2019 understanding of genre as well as their written and spoken communication competencies.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\"
