<\/p>\n
The Preschool Education program at Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute was established in 2002 with the permission of the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Initially, the educational process for this program was conducted within the Department of Youth Pedagogy and Psychology. The program was led by Odina Jamoliddinova, a doctor of pedagogical sciences and professor.<\/p>\n
On July 27, 2002, based on Order No. 14, the Department of Preschool Education Theory and Methodology was established, also under the leadership of Odina Jamoliddinova. This department became the first academic structure dedicated to training specialists in preschool education.<\/p>\n
From 2007 to 2015, the department was led by various individuals, including Gulnora Qo\u2018shoqova, Rustam Abdurasulov, Anvar Meliboyev, and Bakhtiyor Soatov. Since 2019, it has been headed by Professor Hamidulla Meliyev.<\/p>\n
In 2015, the Preschool Education program was merged with the Faculty of Primary Education, forming the new \u201cFaculty of Preschool and Primary Education\u201d under the leadership of Nizomiddin Usmonov.<\/p>\n
Since August 2018, the Preschool Education program gained independent faculty status and began operating as the \u201cFaculty of Preschool Education.\u201d The first dean was Ne\u2019mat Kushvaqtov, a candidate of pedagogical sciences and associate professor. From 2020 to 2022, the faculty was led by Professor Zuhra Yakhshiyeva, and since 2023, it has been headed by Umid Jumanazarov, a doctor of pedagogical sciences (DSc) and associate professor.<\/p>\n
Currently, the faculty employs 41 professors and instructors, including 1 doctor of sciences, 5 candidates of sciences or PhD holders. The number of students exceeds 995.<\/p>\n

In 2022, the program \u201cForeign Languages (English) in Preschool and Primary Education\u201d was introduced, and the English Language Department was established to support it.<\/p>\n
