In 2019, the faculty was established in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan № 404 of May 2, 2019 and the order of the rector of the Jizzakh State Pedagogical university № 396 of May 8, 2019. established. On 30.06.2021, the name of the faculty was changed to “Music Culture”. The faculty is located in the cultural palace of the institute. Currently, the faculty has a total of 12 classrooms, 2 teachers’ rooms, and 2 rooms of the head of the department. The faculty has all necessary conditions for students and professors.

There are 46 professors and employees working at the faculty. 1 of them is a candidate of science, 1 is an associate professor, 7 are senior teachers, 14 are teachers, 13 are concertmasters. Currently, 402 undergraduate students and 32 graduate students study at the faculty. One of the teachers of the faculty, Mamarasulzoda Zulkhumor, won the “Nihol” award in 2013, and in 2020, she received the “Fame” medal. In the 2019-2020 academic year, one of our students was awarded the state scholarship named after “Alisher Navoi”. In order to show and support the talents of talented students, a student studio called “Talent” was established at the Faculty of Music Culture. At the faculty, such clubs as “Student Status Ensemble named after Eson Lutfullayev “, “People’s Instrumental Orchestra”, “Dutorchi qizlar”, “San’at Jozibasi” are operating, and the QVZ team, Choir team and Orchestra teams have been formed. The members of the clubs have achieved the following achievements so far: won the nomination “Selected work on the most relevant topic” at the regional stage of the “Student Theater” festival held between higher education institutions. Akhmadov Yorkin, a 4th-year student of musical education, who participated in the performance based on Shukur Kholmirzayev’s work “Almond Bloomed in Winter”, won the “Best Male Role” nomination.

Aziza Mavlonova, a 2nd-year student studying at the faculty, won the 1st place in the 2nd online republican competition “Bahor Diydori”, Joraboyeva Shahzoda won the 1st place in the 2nd online republican competition “Bahor Diydori”, Orazaliyev Shokhrukh – He won the 1st place in the regional stage of the “Nihol” award held at the national level, the 1st place in the regional stage of the “Voice of Youth” contest held by the republican youth affairs agency, and received a ticket to the republican stage. At the same time, the members of the club participated in the 1st International beauty pageant “Muanbar Navolar”: 1. Quvvatova Nargiza, 1st year, master’s degree in academic vocal field, higher diploma; 2. Yusupov Shakhzod, 3rd year student, 1st place in pop music; 3. 1st year student Berdibekova Mashkhura in the field of piano, 2nd place; 4. Haydarov Murodjon, 2nd year student, 2nd place in the field of traditional singing; 5. Ergasheva Rayhona, 1st year student, 2nd place in pop singing; 6. Aziza Mavlonova, a 2nd-year student, won 3rd place in the field of academic musical performance. The “Student Status Ensemble” team organized under the faculty won the 1st place in the “National status and national variety” category of the Jizzakh regional stage of the “My contribution to the development of the country” Republican contest and Khoshimkhanov Mukhiddinkhan “Followers of Batir Zakirov” Republican audition contest Jizzakh won the 1st place in the regional stage. In the “Student of the Year” competition held among the students of the institute, the 3rd-year student of the faculty, Botirjanov Mukhammadsardar, participated in the nomination “The most active propagandist student of the year” and won the proud 3rd place. An electronic magazine called “Asian Art” has been launched at the faculty. More than 50 articles are presented by professors and students every month.
